About Cayman Costs

Cayman Costs is built and maintained by Serge S., a software developer at Convergine Corp, for people living in or moving to the Cayman Islands. It started as a set of property-cost calculators and grew into the PR points planner, the BOTC residence calculator and these guides.

How the numbers are sourced

Every rate, fee and threshold on the site cites its source — the Immigration (Transition) Act and its Regulations, the Stamp Duty Act, Customs tariff schedules and gov.ky notices — with the date it was last reviewed. When a statute changes, the affected calculator and guide are updated and the change is recorded in the site's release notes.

What this site is not

Nothing here is legal advice. The calculators show how the published rules apply to the figures you enter; decisions about an application belong with a licensed Cayman Islands immigration attorney, and the contact page passes referral requests on.
