Privacy Notice
What the site collects, why, on what lawful basis, how long it is kept and the rights that go with it.
What we collect
- Email address - for sign-in via magic link.
- PR profile data: residence dates, nationality, employment factors, donations, community-service hours, calculated scores.
Why we collect it
To compute your PR score and persist your profile across sessions and devices. Nothing else.
Lawful basis
Consent. You choose to enter the data and you can erase it at any time from the tool footer.
Retention
36 months from your last login. After that the retention sweep deletes your profile and all annual entries automatically.
Your rights
- Right of access - request a copy at support@caymancosts.com or through the contact page.
- Right of erasure - click “Delete my PR profile” in the tool footer for an immediate hard delete.
Newsletter
The newsletter list is held in our own database (DigitalOcean Postgres); Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) is used only to deliver the emails. Nothing is added to the list until you open the confirmation email (double opt-in). Each message carries a one-click unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops all further sends. The only other data stored with the address is the page the sign-up came from and the date of the last send. Newsletter sign-ups are separate from calculator accounts - signing up does not create an account, and deleting an account does not unsubscribe.

What we DON'T do
- Share your data with Cayman Immigration, WORC, or any third party.
- Log PII (no email or token-hash prefixes in our server logs).
- Run third-party analytics on the auth-gated calculator tool.
